I agree w/ this but my beef is that just don’t see enough of Tenzin. He seems forgotten sometimes. I just feel like he should have gotten first dibs on a character arc. I do wish we could see more training at least. That’s the “action” I expect.
oh yeah, there’s always a need for more Tenzin. I think maybe we’ll see more of him when Korra gets closer to actually dealing with the Amon stuff? Which she’ll pretty much have to now- she’s taken a break and that’s good for her, but now the bending arena’s been trashed, the tournament’s over-Tenzin is pretty much the main person she can rely on emotionally to help her deal with her fears, and that’s where his strength is. So hopefully! I like their relationship.

FOR REAL about Tenzin. I mean what the crap, why is he such a non-action guy? They made him out to be so important to Korra and they can’t even show him helping her out.
well I mean
airbenders are pacifists and that’s perfectly legit. Tenzin seems even more intent on avoiding conflict than aang was, and you know, it’s fine that’s who he is and I think that’s a good balance for Korra.
and he is teaching her I think that’d qualify as helping her out
besides the focus was on lin for this episode I’m sure he’ll get to do stuff later. It might be that Tenzin has a legit problem being, you know, fight-y but sometimes you have to fight back and maybe Korra can help him stand his ground in the same way he’s helping her learn to be the leaf and stuff? Hmm possible character arc.
