first of all, this is a different continuity (and the anime was inconsistent from episode to episode)

if you don’t get that sexism against women is way more culturally accepted and therefore worse than sexism against men well
it does actually make sense for Luna to worry that a guy will attack Usagi because rape and sexual harrassment rates of men against women are incredibly high
she’s being way overzealous here but it’s understandable for someone to be overzealous in response to that sort of thing.
a lot of men do go by the excuse “men live my instinct” for this shit, a woman responding to that not by accepting it as a reason for men to do what they want but as a reason to avoid men is reasonable.
I wasn’t supporting this at all, I was noting the ridiculousness of some lines of Sailor Moon. and this line was really supposed to be ridiculous.
