Mountain Dew Batman is the Saddest Batman There is

As you may already be aware, there’s a movie about Batman called The Dark Knight Rises coming out this summer, and as is the case with any big-budget super-hero flick, that means we’re going to get some product tie-ins. Who can forget how Dominos Pizza reflected the complex themes of morality and sacrifice in 2008’s The Dark Knight by offering a pizza with double the pepperoni?! I assure you, my arteries will never forget.
This time around, it’s Mountain Dew, and not only is there a new flavor that’s allegedly inspired by Batman, there’s also a website and, more importantly, an in-store display that looks like the Saddest Batman Ever.

When M’gann did her brainwashing thing while Batman was talking:
“OH MY GOD THAT IS HILARIOUS Batman didn’t even notice. he’s just droning on and on and he doesn’t even…he just keeps talking. You have to rewind I have to see that again that’s hilarious.”
And then the next time Batman spoke:
“Oh here goes Batman giving another dissertation. He sounds really boring. Or just bored. It’s a good voice though it fits him.”
And then when I was like
“SERIOUSLY THEY BETTER NOT HAVE REALLY TURNED KALDUR EVIL”
she was like “He’s not evil, he’s just pissed off”
and then at the end of Korra she was like “WHAT WAS TENZIN DOING THIS WHOLE TIME THEY WERE FIGHTING
IT LOOKS LIKE HE WASN’T DOING ANYTHING
DID HE JUST SIT THIS OUT?”
oh Mom I love you. She makes good points though.
only good part of the ep tbh (did not like the treatment of Batwoman i mean wow)
well that and Batmanwoman talking about taking out the Riddler because I “hatehimhatehimhatehim!” in the cave and Dick being like “hmmm” in response while Babs is like “uh this is weird”
