Frankly, even if he hadn’t specifically told her beforehand that she’d be out if she disobeyed an order because he knew she had this problem (which is why it doesn’t seem believable he was really making her robin) I think he should have fired her after this. Yeah, this is the person who must talk about how Steph isn’t cut out to be a hero every time I make a post on her.  obvs I disagree.

Also FUNNY HOW SHE SEEMS TO BE DOING FINE NOW, DESPITE NOT BEING “CUT OUT FOR THIS BUSINESS”. REALLY FINE. FABULOUS EVEN. AND APPROVED BY BABS, TIM, BRUCE, CASS AND PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE WHO MATTERS. IT’S ALMOST AS IF WHETHER SHE’S CUT OUT TO BE A HERO DEPENDS ON WHETHER THE WRITERS WANT HER TO BE OR NOT. SOMEHOW.

If Steph wasn’t cut out to be a hero, she would have died two weeks in. She wouldn’t have survived solo on the streets for several years, and she wouldn’t be doing a fabulous job as Batgirl now. She saved the goddamn city from blowing up. I think we can stop doubting that she’s got the stuff.
