Chibiusa gasps

Altair: Even more than girls with thin legs who are young and cute, I love you.

(Vega smacks him for this comment. He keeps smiling anway as he says:)

Out of all of the women out there, you are the best, my wife!

Chibiusa is  asleep, cuddled up with her picture of Mamoru. Her journal entry reads:

Today is Tanabata.

It’s the only day of the year the lovers Altair and Vega are able to see each other since they’re seperated by 16 light years. They had a little tiff, but they’re doing all right now. As for me, I’m lucky I get to be near the ones I love every day.

Awww. Too cute. Like I said, at least it’s a good message that aging and gaining weight and fights and misunderstandings are all part of the relationship, but real love endures so it isn’t an issue.
