Thetis and Epsilon disentegrate
The wristwatch cracks
The girls snap out of it: Ah! Huh? Where are we?
The moon glows and shines
Vega: Huh?
Altair ( a man in a robe with wearing a covered bun) comes down, his arms outstretched.
Vega: Altair!
Altair: Vega!
Altair: Tonight is our 3000th anniversary right? You’ve gotta believe in me, don’t hate me, please!
Vega: Oh you, you could have called you know, I’ve got an answering machine when I’m busy for doing other stuff like my job, All this time you were working to save up money, you weren’t just messing with me?
Altair: W-well…

Awww <3. I also think it’s important that the message of this peice is no matter how much a woman ages or how she looks, a guy who’s worth it will love her no matter what, and there is a chance for happiness like that.
Also that Altair is a dork and she tells him off for being irresponsible rather than apologizing for freaking out. It’s just a take on the insecurity that arises as women age in a very tongue in cheek way (with some fatphobia, but at least the “fat” person is sympathetic and shown to be loved for who she is and it’s something that happens to people as they age), hence the overthetopness and Chibiusa’s sensitivity. A little outdated and perhaps weird in some bits, but still cute and with a postive message.
Vega seriously doesn’t look any bigger than the other girls though I mean come on. Oh, Naoko.
