I’d give my thoughts on it but this basically sum it up.

It was an enjoyable film, and the two leads killed it as Xavier and Magneto. I enjoyed their romance dynamic a hell of a lot.

But it completely fails on the race and gender front, despite supposedly being a metaphor for that stuff.

Utterly. And completely. Especially Darwin, Angel and what happened to Moira at the end, what the fuck. And that every single woman had to be in unnnnderclothes at some point. Is there a way this could have been more blatantly racist and sexist? I’M NOT SURE.
