This is completely to make things easier on myself for WFA. A linkpost of my hideously long manga vs. anime comparison of like…one episode/chapter of Sailor Moon R (though it JUST went past that), examining the deeper implications in each scene and how each medium handled the sexual assault of the hero, her escape, the characterization of the villian and the consequences- and why the changes are significant. I really didn’t know this would be so long but I am weird.

I decide to go on another achingly long analysis of Sailor Moon analyzing how the storyline with Dimande was handled in the manga vs. the anime WHY

Manga- Incinerating small children and noticing the hot Queen

Manga (and Anime)- Naturally Dimande’s motivation is power

Anime and Manga- I don’t want to think about how that dress got on Usagi

Anime vs. Manga- Dimande is really obsessed with Sailor Moon’s eyes

Anime vs. Manga- stripping Usagi of her power

Anime- Tuxedo Mask prefers to save the day by hangglider

Anime- Dimande almost assaults Sailor Moon- but is it even more horrifying than the manga version?

Manga- Dimande assaults Sailor Moon, she punches him in the face

Manga- Usagi only fully becomes aware of how trapped she is after the forced kiss
