Yeah, we had Fanaticon, and I pretty much stayed there all day. Gail was our sole big event. We talked for a bit and she signed all my trades. Also a picture! I will post pictures later, there were a lot of costumes because Asheville is where normal is weird. I saw most of my friends at the con too, Fuller, who I used to art class with in high school was a really KICKASS Black Canary seriously she was amazing.

I was a dork at the “Gender Race and Sexuality” panel and ended up asking a long rambling question that meant nothing, but at Gail’s panel I asked how it was being back at BoP and whether the Death of Oracle stuff was her idea, and she said she had been reluctant to “go back” even though she really missed the book, and DoO was her idea, and she couldn’t say more.

I talked to her husband for a good period of time, actually, he was very friendly and said Gail was a big fan of WFA and he was too, that was nice. We discussed Internet Stuff which was weird to do IRL. Anywayyy I got two Buffy trades

(oh yeah, I finally finished the entire show did I inform anyone of that? And now I”ve read up to the point in the comic where it’s going to stop being good- though how hilarious is it for Buffy to have a terrified expression on her face saying “Twilight is coming?” And since this was published before Twilight got popular, that’s a weird coincidence)

Though my friend Joy accompanied me to a panel for a while, and it was fun trying to explain comics to her.
