See, Damian’s birth is based this story from the eighties where Batman and Talia had a son. It was consensual sex in that story. Because Talia was never ever portrayed as the kind of person who would rape someone, and Bruce is genuinely into her.
But Morrison took that story and got Damian out of it, only in the “modern version” he had Talia drug him and tie him up and rape him instead. I have no idea why really. It’s not like Bruce doesn’t have consensual sex with women a lot!
I was hoping DC at least used their reboot to rectify that stupidity and grossness, but I should ever expect stuff from DC of course.
