huh, well I’ve generally seen it used sarcastically, like these are dudes who think they’re so brotastic and trying to get their bro cred by being douches and pretending they’re *so cool* and better than all those silly wimmins because of their innate dudeliness. I dunno, it just really seems to sum up the attitude to me.
I like calling people dude and bro (regardless of gender identification generally too, unless they have a problem with that, i just like those words. BROS!) I just put them together in that context.
I mean, you can still use it! It’s just how I use it. There’s certain words that can be used ironically anyway, language is fun like that.
