but then I am happy! Because I have anime now which is sort of endless! And full of cool ladies!

And because in my head I have a little fanverse where everyone is bffs and kickass ladies

Basically the only comic I really love right now with the heat of a million suns is Batgirl and even that dissapoints me in regards to Cass- buuuuuuutttt…

what I really love about comics is the fans. I love this little batch of geekgirl!fandom we have on tumblr and the endless amount of creativity on tumblr. I love how we can squee endlessly about comics we like and ignore the rest. I love my lj. I’ve pretty much given up on all other forms of fandom- I never go to message boards anymore- but my little tumblr and lj communities are where I feel right at home and feel happy about nerdery. Basically, it doesn’t matter how screwed up comics get. Steph and Babs and Cass and Diana are always intact in my heart and will forever be intact in the fanverse.

There is anime and fancomics and fanart and fic and geekery and posting epic panels and essays and squeeing and lovin’ and there always will be. As long as my favorite girls are alive and I have tumblr an’ my imagination I will be happy.

Comics are endless. Fandom is endless. Creativity and love for my favorite characters is endless. And that’s all that matters.
